LAUTECH DISOWNS FAKE RESCHEDULED TEST NOTIFICATION


The management of Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH), Ogbomoso, has disowned a fake notification circulating on social media and other platforms, claiming that tests for 100-level students have been rescheduled.

According to a statement issued by the Registrar, Olayinka O. Balogun, the letter did not originate from her office and should be disregarded by staff and students.

The university has commenced efforts to identify the perpetrators behind the fake notification, who will face the consequences of their actions.

The Registrar emphasized that information will only be disseminated through official university channels, urging staff and students to be cautious of fake news.

This development serves as a reminder to the university community to rely solely on official channels for information to avoid falling prey to misinformation.
