LASUED Management Hosts Lagos State Bureau of Statistics; Proposes Collaboration
The indefatigable Management team, Lagos State University of Education led by the ever active Vice Chancellor, Professor Bidemi Bilkis Lafiaji-Okuneye on Thursday 18th April, 2024 hosted a team of Lagos Bureau of Statistics led by the Director, Mr. Tayo Oseni-Ope Bashiru where proposed collaboration on data collection and validation regarding the University was mentioned.
Prof. B.B. Lafiaji-Okuneye said that the proposed partnership will be a symbiotic relationship which will enable both LASUED and Lagos State Bureau of Statistics to share knowledge and ideas on areas needed for the benefit of both parties.
The Director, Lagos Bureau of Statistics, Mr. Oseni-Ope noted that the essence of their visit is to introduce data Management System of the Lagos State Government to the University Management.
Other dignitaries present in the meeting are; the Acting Deputy Vice Chancellor Academic, Dr. M.A. Daodu, the Acting Deputy Vice Chancellor Administration, Dr. M.A. Shittu, the Registrar, Mr. Akinfemiwa Opeoluewa, the University Librarian, Dr. Imam Abayomi, the Deputy Bursar, Mrs. Oriolowo Celina who represented the Bursar, Mr. Ganiu Ajose Adeniyi, the Director, Directorate of Academic Planning/Quality Assurance, Dr. M.B Lawal, the Deputy Registrar, Vice Chancellor’s Office, Mrs. Sami Omolara amongst others.
