INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S DAY 2024: Teens Volunteers Forum to pad 1000 LASU Undergraduates

ON the 6th day of March, 2024, a crew of impact making youths, named the TEENS VOLUNTEERS FORUM observed a Menstrual Hygiene Walk round the Main Campus Ojo to advocate for Menstrual Hygiene, an end to period poverty and stigmatization.
The theme was tagged: END PERIOD POVERTY.
Teen Volunteers Forum is a volunteering Hub for passionate Teenagers and Youths willing to make impacts through volunteering. Armed with SDG 2 and 3, the home of volunteering have embarked on numerous volunteering symposiums across the Badagry-Lasu-Iba axis.
TVF have been at the forefront of promoting menstrual hygiene as well as the advocacy of free sanitary pads within Badagry and even the Lagos State University.
Via her numerous menstrual hygiene symposiums, she have successfully distributed 2500+ free sanitary pads to her beneficiaries.

“Our 45 man team stormed the Lagos State University, Ojo Campus with the gospel of menstrual hygiene, ending period poverty as well as breaking the bias and stigmatization”…
“We were able to tour each faculty as well as the students affairs headquarters popularly known as Arcade and we were warmly received by the students populace. We were able to raise a substantial amount to get sanitary pads for our forthcoming Pad-A-Thon Symposium (Pad 1000 female undergraduates)”… he added.
“In what was likely to be the first students Menstrual Hygiene Walk in Lasu, the turnout of students was way impressive and the reception we received from the university community was exceptional”… he concluded.
