LAGOS STATE UNIVERSITY (LASU) SET TO COMMENCE ONLINE CLEARANCE (LACACA) FOR PROVISIONALLY ADMITTED UNDERGRADUATE CANDIDATES FOR THE 2023/2024 ACADEMIC SESSION

WHAT IS LACACA?

The full meaning of LACACA is LASU Central Admissions Clearance Application

Admitted candidates into Lagos State University in the 2023/2024 academic session are expected to participate in the online admissions clearance exercise through the use of LASU Central Admissions Clearance Application (LACACA).

Successful candidates, at the end of the LACACA operation, shall be assigned matriculation numbers while unsuccessful candidates shall be considered to have forfeited their offer of provisional admissions.

The LACACA operation is a product of LASU Consult Limited; and as such all the participating and admitted candidates in the 2023/2024 academic session are to pay for the required Clearance Fee through the LASU e-payment portal.

Candidates are required to have made payment for acceptance, medical, clearance, and tuition fees before commencing the online clearance.

STEPS:

(a)    validate your basic bio-data details
(b)    verify disability status
(c)    upload O’Level Results
(d)    Birth Certificate
(e)    UTME Results/Notification of Result or Certificate if direct entry
(f)    JAMB Admission Letter
(g)    Upload scan Signature
(h)    Submit the application by checking the “I Agree” text box and then click on Submit.
vi.      At this stage, the Admission Clearance will be on 20% while the         documents have been submitted for further scrutiny by dedicated         University officials
vii.     You are expected to check for the progress of the Admission Clearance as your attention may be required based on your uploaded documents
viii.    Candidates with error(s) that require correction will be required to pay for correction of such error(s) on the LASU payment portal – https://www.lasu.edu.ng/epayment
ix.    Upon attainment of 100% clearance progress and confirmation of Consultancy fee paid into LASU Consult Ltd. account, successful candidate will be able to print LASU Admission Clearance Certificate for the 2023/2024 Academic Session and assigned a Matriculation Number.

Rejected students are advised to visit the Admission Office LASU  Main Campus, Ojo, for further guidance

FUTHER INFORMATION:

1. Please note that you will receive a success message once your form is duly completed and submitted. After this, keep checking your email for updates on the progress on your Clearance.
2. Once your Clearance is completed and approved by the University,  you will be notified on your dashboard and therefore requested to be checking your dashboard.
3. Proceed to download and print four (4) copies of the approval page and keep for subsequent information.
The Lagos State University introduced the Online Clearance Exercise named Lagos State University Central Admission Clearance App (LACACA) to ease the process of  Admission Clearance and more importantly,  curtail the danger of the spread of Covid-19 on the University Campus.
