UNIVERSITY MANAGEMENT ANNOUNCES RESUMPTION DATE.
The University Management has released the Academic Calender for 2023/2024 Academic Session. According to the Calender, the University reopens Sunday 12th November 2023, while Monday 13th November to Sunday 26 November 2023 has been slated for registration of both fresh and returning students. Lectures will commence on Monday, 4th December, 2023. Regarding the delay experienced by most students in accessing their registration Portal, the Management said, it was as a result of the ongoing upgrade of the University Registration Software. Meanwhile, students can now login and do their registration. In a related development, the University Management has approved the following as registration procedure for both fresh and returning students: Step 1: Online payment of acceptance fee and printing of admission letter by fresh students. Step 2: Uploading of original copies of credentials onto portal by newly admitted students. Step 3: Online Verification of uploaded credentials by Departments. Step 4: Cleared and accepted fresh Students to print Medical Screening Invoice and make payment. Step 5: Medical Screening of Fresh Students that made payment. Step 6: Screened Fresh Students to print and make payment of the following invoices: i. Main Registration ii. Departmental/Faculty iii. Students’ Affairs iv. Unions v. Hostel accommodation (optional) Step 7: If all payments are approved then proceed to Online Registration: i. Update Bio-Data form. ii. Courses Registration to obtain CRF. iii. Obtain ID card generated by the Portal.
The University Senate of Aliko Dangote University of Science and Technology, Wudil has approved new registration charges for the 2023/2024 Academic Session. The new charges are in accordance with the Kano State Government policy of 50 percent reduction in registration for Kano indigenes studying in all Higher institutions by Kano State Governor and Visitor to the University, Engr. Abba Kabir Yusuf.
