LADOKE AKINTOLA UNIVERSITY OF TECHNOLOGY (LAUTECH) ANNOUNCES 2025 END OF YEAR BREAK
The Management of Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH), Ogbomoso, has announced the end-of-year closure of the institution in preparation for the 2025 yuletide season.
According to an official notice issued by the Office of the Registrar, the university will commence its end-of-year break on Monday, 15 December 2025. Academic and administrative activities are scheduled to resume on Monday, 5 January 2026.
The notice stated that the university will not be open to the public for normal business throughout the closure period. Members of staff have therefore been directed to ensure that all official assignments and responsibilities are concluded on or before the closure date.
Management also clarified that officers rendering essential services and required to be on duty during the break will be duly informed through established official channels.
The Vice-Chancellor, Professor R. O. Rom Kalilu, while extending the announcement, wished members of the university community a restful end-of-year holiday and a prosperous 2026.
The notice was signed by T. A. Adeyi Esq., Deputy Registrar, Council Affairs and Legal Matters, on behalf of the Registrar, Mrs. Olayinka O. Balogun, and dated 13 December 2025.
