UNIVERSITY OF ABUJA (UNIABUJA) ANNOUNCES 2025 END OF YEAR BREAK
The University of Abuja has announced its official end of the year break for all staff and students, confirming that the institution will shut down academic and administrative activities from Wednesday 17 December 2025 to Sunday 4 January 2026.
In a statement signed by the Acting Registrar, Sambo Mohammed, the University disclosed that full activities on campus will resume on Monday 5 January 2026.
The notice further explained that essential service workers are exempted from the holiday. Units such as the Safety Unit, Health Services, Works and Services, alongside other critical departments, are expected to remain at their duty posts throughout the break.
The Acting Vice-Chancellor, on behalf of the Council, Senate and Management, extended festive wishes to the UniAbuja community, praying for a joyous Christmas celebration and a prosperous New Year in advance.
