OLABISI ONABANJO UNIVERSITY (OOU) ANNOUNCES FULL-TIME UNDERGRADUATES MATRICULATION CEREMONY FOR THE 2025/2026 ACADEMIC SESSION

Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago-Iwoye, has fixed Tuesday, 16th December, 2025 for the Matriculation Ceremony of newly admitted students for the 2025/2026 academic session. The announcement was contained in a statement issued by the Registrar, Dr. Ilayo Omkotan.

Following the scheduled ceremony, the University has set Friday, 28th November, 2025 as the final deadline for all payments, including acceptance fees and school fees. The management noted that the admissions process is drawing to a close, stressing that only candidates who fulfil their financial obligations before the deadline will be recognized for matriculation.

In line with JAMB’s 2025/2026 admission guidelines, the institution will forward its official Matriculation List to JAMB on Tuesday, 2nd December, 2025. The guideline requires a minimum of two weeks’ notice before a matriculation exercise is conducted.

The University warned that candidates who fail to complete the necessary payments by 28th November will be excluded from the Matriculation List and will forfeit their admission. Those who have been offered admission on JAMB CAPS but are yet to accept were also urged to accept their offer, print their admission letters, and pay their required fees before the deadline.

The management advised all affected candidates to comply immediately to avoid losing their admission.
