UNIVERSITY OF DELTA (UNIDEL) ANNOUNCES UNDERGRADUATE MATRICULATION CEREMONY FOR THE 2025/2026 ACADEMIC SESSION

The University of Delta, Agbor, has announced that its 5th Matriculation Ceremony for the 2025/2026 academic session will hold on Friday, 14th November 2025.

According to a circular signed by the Registrar, Richmond Omagbemi (Esq), the event will commence with an academic procession at 9 a.m.

The notice stated that only duly registered new students of the University are qualified to participate in the matriculation exercise.

All members of Senate and Congregation are expected to join the procession, fully robed in their academic gowns. Faculty Officers have been directed to collect gowns for students from the Central Stores beginning Wednesday, 12th November 2025, at 12 noon, and to ensure orderliness and proper conduct throughout the ceremony.

The University warned students against any act that could tarnish its image, adding that misconduct during the ceremony would attract stiff disciplinary measures in line with the institution’s regulations.

The management wished the entire University community a successful and memorable matriculation ceremony.
