FEDERAL UNIVERSITY LOKOJA (FUL) ANNOUNCES HOSTEL ACCOMODATIONS SCHEDULE FOR THE 2026/2026 ACADEMIC SESSION
The Management of the Federal University Lokoja (FUL) has released a new directive on the procedure for payment of hostel accommodation fees for the 2025/2026 academic session.
According to a circular dated November 10, 2025, and signed by the Dean of Student Affairs, Professor Isah Yunusa, all new and returning students are required to obtain clearance from the Dean’s office before making any payment for hostel accommodation.
The notice emphasized that no student should pay accommodation fees without clearance, as any payment made outside this procedure will not guarantee a bed space.
The university further directed that all payments must be made strictly through a direct bank letter into the university’s designated accommodation account, whose details will be issued at the Dean’s office after clearance.
In a bid to ensure transparency and security, the circular warned that online transfers, mobile banking, or payments through POS agents are strictly prohibited, adding that the institution will not be liable for any unapproved payments.
Students are also mandated to submit the bank letter at the Dean’s office to complete registration and receive their hostel allocation.
The management urged all students to comply strictly with the laid-down procedures to avoid complications or financial loss.
