PROF. MOHAMMED ISA KIDA APPOINTED AS NEW FULAFIA VICE-CHANCELLOR
The Governing Council of the Federal University of Lafia (FULafia) has approved the appointment of Prof. Mohammed Isa Kida as the new Vice-Chancellor of the institution.
Prof. Kida, who currently serves as the Dean of the Faculty of Management Science, is a seasoned academic and professional accountant. He received his appointment letter from the Chairman of the FULafia Governing Council, Mrs. Lola Fibisola Akande.
According to the letter dated October 29, 2025, Prof. Kida’s appointment will run for a single term of five years, effective from February 11, 2026. The Governing Council expressed confidence that the new Vice-Chancellor would bring his wealth of experience to advance the growth and development of the University.
Prof. Kida takes over from Prof. Shehu Abdul Rahman, whose tenure will end in February 2026.
