RIVERS STATE UNIVERSITY (RSU) RELEASES MERIT ADMISSION LIST ON SCHOOL PORTAL FOR THE 2025/2026 ACADEMIC SESSION

Rivers State University (RSU), Nkpolu-Oroworukwo, Port Harcourt, has announced the release of its provisional admission list for the 2025/2026 academic session. The list, which contains the names of successful candidates on merit, was officially published by the institution’s management.

According to the statement signed by the Registrar, Mrs. I. B. S. Harry, all admitted candidates are required to log on to the university’s website (www.rsu.edu.ng) to generate a transaction ID and make an e-payment of the ₦50,000 acceptance fee. Payments can be made via the Pay Direct Bank Branch option at designated banks or online using Interswitch Verve-enabled cards.

After payment, candidates are expected to complete their online clearance before proceeding with the payment of school fees.

For the clearance exercise, fresh students are to present the following documents:

• JAMB Admission Letter

• Original JAMB Result Slip

• Accepted Admission Status from JAMB CAPS

• Original O’level Certificates

• Birth Certificate

• LGA Identification Letter

• Acceptance Fee Receipt

The university emphasized that all payments and acceptance of admission offers must be completed within two weeks from the date of publication, warning that failure to do so would result in permanent forfeiture of admission.

Candidates are advised to act promptly and follow the guidelines to secure their places for the new academic session.
