FEDERAL UNIVERSITY OF TECHNOLOGY IKOT-ABASI (FUTIA) BEGINS UPLOADING OF ADMISSION LIST ON JAMB CAPS FOR THE 2025/2026 ACADEMIC SESSION

The Federal University of Technology, Ikot Abasi (FUTIA), Akwa Ibom State, has officially announced the release of its 2025 admissions list on the JAMB portal.

According to the university’s Admission Office, all candidates who applied to FUTIA as their first choice and participated in the online screening exercise are advised to log in to their JAMB CAPS to confirm and accept their admission.

Successful candidates are to proceed immediately to the FUTIA University Portal (portal.futia.edu.ng) to pay their acceptance fee and prepare for the upcoming Screening/Registration Exercise, scheduled to hold at the University Lecture Theatre, Takeoff Campus, Ikot Abasi, from Monday, 6th October to Monday, 20th October, 2025, starting at 9:00 a.m. daily.

Required Documents for Screening

Admitted students are to present the following documents during registration:

1. Acceptance Fee Receipt

2. Original JAMB Result

3. Original JAMB Admission Letter

4. O’Level Result(s)

5. First School Leaving Certificate (FSLC)

6. Birth Certificate/Age Declaration

7. Twelve (12) Passport Photographs

8. Attestation Letter from Clergy, Senior Civil Servant, or Village Head

9. Certificate of Origin

10. FUTIA Bio-Data/Application Form

11. FUTIA Screening Fee Receipt

The university also emphasized that admission is released in batches, advising candidates whose names are not yet on the list to keep checking their JAMB CAPS regularly. Those who encounter persistent issues may visit the Admissions Officer at the university premises for enquiries and clarification.

Importantly, FUTIA warned that it has no admission agents and does not authorize anyone to demand unauthorized fees. All approved charges are to be paid electronically via the official FUTIA portal.
