Ignatius Ajuru University of Education (IAUE) has released its second admission list for the 2025/2026 academic session, covering candidates admitted under the UTME Catchment B (Batch B) category.

According to an official statement, the release followed the successful completion of the admission screening exercise, which involved physical screening, biometric enrolment, and point ranking based on JAMB UTME scores.

Successful candidates whose names appeared on the list are advised to check the university’s website and official information platforms for details on clearance requirements and procedures.

Step-by-Step Guide to Accept Admission

1. Confirm admission status on the JAMB CAPS portal.
2. Locate your JAMB registration number.
3. On the phone linked to your JAMB profile, send your registration number followed by “ACCEPT” or “REJECT” (e.g., 202551991244FA ACCEPT) to either 55019 or 66019.
4. Expect a confirmation message, which may include your photo and congratulatory note.
5. Print your admission letter and UTME result slip (colored copies) after acceptance for clearance purposes.
6. Proceed with payment of acceptance fees, which commenced on Wednesday, September 17, 2025.
7. Clearance in departments and faculties began Monday, September 22, 2025.
8. The deadline for clearance for this batch is October 24, 2025.

The university also assured that additional admission lists will be released in line with categories approved by JAMB. Supplementary admissions for UTME, Direct Entry, JUPEB, and Basic programmes are currently in progress.

Important Notice for Candidates Not Yet Admitted
IAUE emphasized that the JAMB Central Admission Processing System (CAPS) has been activated for the 2025/2026 academic session. Candidates are strongly advised to regularly monitor their admission status on CAPS to know when they have been offered admission.

The university highlighted five key steps for candidates:

• Verify O’level result upload on CAPS (visit any accredited JAMB CBT centre or IAUE ICT centre if necessary).
• Check “Admission Status” on CAPS to confirm if admission has been recommended or approved.
• Monitor the “Transfer Approval” link for possible changes of programme and act accordingly.
• Upload awaiting results promptly (UTME and Direct Entry candidates).
• Use the JAMB e-facility login to access full details; phone users are encouraged to switch to desktop mode for complete display.

IAUE management reaffirmed its commitment to a transparent admission process and urged prospective students to stay updated via official channels only.
