THE FEDERAL POLYTECHNIC BAUCHI REOPENS 2ND SEMESTER COURSE REG PORTAL FOR THE 2024/2025 ACADEMIC SESSION

The management of the Federal Polytechnic, Bauchi, has approved the re-opening of its registration portal for students who are yet to complete their second semester 2024/2025 registration.

In an internal memo signed by the Deputy Registrar (Academics), Safiyo Yila, on behalf of the Registrar, the institution said the decision followed several appeals from students and was reached after a meeting with Deans and Heads of Department on Tuesday, September 23, 2025.

The memo stated that the portal will be open for three days, beginning Wednesday, September 24 to Friday, September 26, 2025. However, students who failed to register during the initial period will be required to pay a penalty fee of ₦5,000 for late registration.

Management also directed class advisers to be proactive in approving student requests to avoid unnecessary delays. It warned that any adviser who fails to carry out approvals without reasonable cause would be held responsible for the late registration charges incurred by the affected student.

Additionally, all late registration payments are to be made through the Bursary Department, with evidence of payment presented to the Department and ICT unit for necessary action.
