UNIVERSITY OF ABUJA (UNIABUJA) RELEASES REMEDIAL SCIENCES PROGRAMME ADMISSION FORM FOR THE 2025/2026 ACADEMIC SESSION

The University of Abuja has announced the commencement of admission into its one-year Remedial Science Programme for the 2025/2026 Academic Session.

Admission Requirements
Prospective candidates must possess credit passes in Physics, Chemistry, Biology or Agricultural Science, English Language, and Mathematics at GCE, WAEC, NECO/SSCE, or NABTEB.

Programme Duration
The Remedial Science Programme runs for one academic session. Admitted candidates will undertake intensive studies for two semesters, after which they are expected to:

• Pass the Remedial examinations,

• Meet the University’s UTME cut-off mark,

• Register for the Post-UTME, and

• Fulfill entry requirements for any science-based degree programme at the University of Abuja.

Application Procedure
Application forms are available online at www.portal.uniabuja.edu.ng for a non-refundable fee of ₦15,000.00. Applicants are required to:

1. Visit the portal, click New Application, and select Remedial.

2. Complete the required details and proceed to make payment.

3. Use a valid email address and phone number to complete the form.

4. Note their RRR number for reference.

5. After successful payment, log in to complete the application and print the necessary documents.

6. Candidates can check admission status via the University portal using their Form Number as username and Surname as password.

For payment issues, candidates are advised to contact the Directorate of Information Technology, Management Services (ITMS) Unit.

Required Documents
Applicants must print and submit completed forms with copies of the following:

• Indigene Certificate

• Birth Certificate

• O’ Level Results/Certificate

• Medical Certificate of Fitness
