LASU 2025/2026 FULL-TIME UNDERGRADUATE FIRST SEMESTER RESUMPTION DATE NOT YET ANNOUNCED; DISREGARD FAKE ACADEMIC CALENDAR IN CIRCULATION
The attention of Segio Campus Reports has been drawn by students to a document currently circulating online which claims that the first semester of the 2025/2026 academic session for full-time undergraduate students of Lagos State University (LASU) will commence on Monday, 15th September 2025.
Our findings reveal that the document is fake and misleading. It is not possible to begin a new academic session while the current one is still ongoing. Notably, the ENT 202 examination has been scheduled for the same date 15th September 2025, which confirms that academic activities for the present session are still in progress.
At the moment, LASU has not released any official information regarding the resumption date for the first semester of the 2025/2026 academic session.
Students are also reminded to understand the difference between key terms:
- Proposed means suggested, draft, or under consideration.
- Approved means final, authorized, and official.
Therefore, a document tagged “proposed” cannot be treated as the official position of the University.
In summary, the circulating document is FAKE and should be totally disregarded. Students are advised to always verify information through official LASU communication channels before sharing.
