LAGOS STATE UNIVERSITY (LASU) RELEASES ONLINE LACACA CLEARANCE SCHEDULE FOR NEWLY-ADMITTED FULL-TIME UNDEGRADUATE STUDENTS FOR THE 2025/2026 ACADEMIC SESSION
The management of Lagos State University (LASU) has announced that the Central Admissions Clearance (LACACA) for candidates admitted into the full-time undergraduate programmes for the 2025/2026 academic session will commence on Wednesday, 17th September, 2025.
According to information released by the institution, all newly admitted students are required to participate in the online clearance exercise through the LASU Central Admissions Clearance Application (LACACA). Only candidates who successfully complete the process will be assigned matriculation numbers, while those who fail to do so will be deemed to have forfeited their provisional admission.
The exercise, managed by LASU Consult Limited, requires candidates to pay acceptance, medical, and clearance fees via the LASU e-payment portal before beginning the clearance process.
During the LACACA operation, candidates will be required to:
- Validate personal biodata
- Upload O’Level scratch card details
- Upload original copies of birth certificate, UTME results, and JAMB admission letter
- Upload scanned signature and other necessary documents
The clearance progress starts at 20% upon submission of documents and gradually moves to 100% after full verification by University officials. Successful candidates can then print their LASU Admission Clearance Certificate and obtain a matriculation number.
Students whose documents are rejected will be notified on their portal and may need to visit the Admissions Office at the Senate Building, Main Campus, Ojo, for further assistance.
The clearance exercise will run for two weeks from the commencement date.
