PRINCE ABUBAKAR AUDU UNIVERSITY (PAAU) RELEASES APPROVED ACADEMIC CALENDAR FOR THE 2025/2026 ACADEMIC SESSION
The Management of Prince Abubakar Audu University (PAAU), Anyigba, has officially released the academic calendar for the 25/2026 academic session, signaling her commitment to timely academic planning and excellence.
Releasing the Academic Calender during the 156 Senate Meeting held at the University Auditorium on the 27th of August, 2025, the Vice-Chancellor warned sternly, that no form of late resumption and absence from classes would be entertained by the University.
Commenting further, the VC noted that the University is set to commence online payment of fees and course registration for both new and returning students on October 12, 2025. This marks the beginning of a structured and student-focused academic year. Physical resumption for the first semester has been scheduled for October 20, 2025, during which students are expected to submit their course registration forms for official signing. Academic activities will kick off without delay, as lectures begin on October 21, 2025 across all faculties.
The first semester lecture period will run smoothly until January 10, 2026, after which examinations will commence on January 19, 2026, ensuring adequate preparation time for students.
For the second semester, online platforms will reopen for course registration and payment on March 8, 2026, keeping in line with the University’s commitment to digital accessibility and efficiency. The academic year is set to conclude on July 12, 2026, wrapping up another cycle of high-impact learning and student development.
