UNIVERSITY OF ABUJA (UNIABUJA) RELEASES POST-UTME/DIRECT ENTRY ADMISSION FORM FOR THE 2025/2026 ACADEMIC SESSION

The University of Abuja has announced the commencement of its registration for the 2025/2026 Post-UTME and Direct Entry (DE) screening exercise. The process officially opened on Thursday, 14th August 2025, and will close on Friday, 5th September 2025.

In a statement signed by the Acting Registrar, Mrs. Roseline Adakayi, the institution emphasised that only candidates who meet the stated eligibility requirements will be considered for admission.

Eligibility Requirements:

• UTME candidates must have scored a minimum of 180 and meet the departmental cut-off for their chosen programme.

• At least five (5) O’Level credits including English Language and Mathematics, obtained in not more than two sittings.

• O’Level results must be uploaded to the JAMB portal.

• Direct Entry candidates must possess NCE, IJMB, ND, First Degree, HND, JUPEB, or NABTEB A’ Level (with verification from awarding institutions).

• Applicants must be 16 years or older by 30th September 2025.

• Awaiting result candidates are not eligible to apply.

Application Procedure:
Prospective candidates are to visit portal.uniabuja.edu.ng, complete the online registration form, and make a ₦2,000 non-refundable payment via Remita. Applicants are advised to print both their completed registration form and payment receipt for reference.

The University warned against any form of admission racketeering, stressing that offenders would face immediate disqualification.
