FEDERAL POLYTECHNIC BAUCHI (FPTB) TO RESUME ACADEMIC ACTIVITIES AUGUST 25 AFTER TEMPORARY CLOSURE
The Federal Polytechnic, Bauchi (FPTB) has announced that academic activities will resume on Monday, 25th August 2025, following the recent temporary shutdown of the institution after a hostel invasion incident.
In a statement signed by the Registrar, Mrs. V. Okpaise-Oikeh, the decision to reopen was reached during an emergency Academic Board meeting held on Wednesday, 13th August 2025.
Students are expected to return to campus on the announced date and comply with the academic calendar as earlier scheduled.
Management expressed readiness to ensure a safe and smooth continuation of academic programmes and called for maximum cooperation from the entire Polytechnic community.
