ABIA STATE UNIVERSITY (ABSU) RELEASES POST-UTME/DIRECT ENTRY ADMISSION FORM FOR THE 2025/2026 ACADEMIC SESSION

The Management of Abia State University (ABSU), Uturu, wishes to inform all candidates seeking admission into its regular degree programmes for the 2025/2026 academic session that the online screening exercise has commenced.

METHOD OF APPLICATION

Candidates are to:

1. Upload their UTME scores, O’Level, and degree results (where applicable) on the ABSU Portal via www.portal.abiastateuniversity.edu.ng and the JAMB portal.

CANDIDATES ELIGIBLE FOR THE SCREENING EXERCISE

• Candidates who selected Abia State University as their 1st choice, 2nd choice, or those willing to change to ABSU as their preferred institution.

• Candidates who scored 150 and above in the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).

• Candidates who possess at least five (5) O’Level credit passes in relevant subjects, in line with the University’s entry requirements.

• All Direct Entry candidates.
