LAGOS STATE UNIVERSITY (LASU) RELEASES JUPEB PROGRAMME ADMISSION FORM FOR THE 2025/2026 ACADEMIC SESSION

Lagos State University (LASU) has officially opened applications for admission into its School of Basic and Advanced Studies (JUPEB Programme) for the 2025/2026 academic calendar. The programme, which is conducted at the LASU Epe Campus, is designed to prepare students for Direct Entry admission into the 200 Level of degree programmes in LASU and other JUPEB-affiliated institutions.

Overview of the Programme

The JUPEB (Joint Universities Preliminary Examinations Board) programme runs for twelve (12) calendar months. Successful candidates will be eligible for admission into 200 Level through Direct Entry in LASU or any other Nigerian or foreign university affiliated with JUPEB.

Admission Requirements

Applicants must have a minimum of five (5) O’Level credits in relevant subjects, including English Language, at not more than two sittings in WAEC, NECO, or GCE. Candidates awaiting results may also apply.

Subject combinations are available in Arts, Sciences, Management, and Social Sciences, with a wide range of course options across multiple faculties.

CRS/Lit-in-English/History

Students are advised to select combinations relevant to their intended course of study.

Direct Entry and Admission to 200 Level

Upon successful completion of the programme, candidates will be eligible for 200 Level admission into LASU and other JUPEB-affiliated universities, provided they meet all other requirements including passing JUPEB exams.

Application Process

Interested applicants are to pay a non-refundable application fee of Fifteen Thousand Naira (₦15,000) only through the LASU official website.

Deadline for Online Application:

Friday, 19th September 2025

Entrance Examination:

Will hold at LASU CBT Centre, Main Campus, Ojo, Lagos (Date to be communicated via email and LASU website).
