LAGOS STATE COLLEGE OF NURSING IGANDO (LASCON) RELEASES ND/HND ADMISSION FORM FOR THE 2025/2026 ACADEMIC SESSION

The Lagos State College of Nursing (LASCON), Igando, located within the Alimosho General Hospital axis of Lagos, has commenced its 2025/2026 admission process. The college invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for its National Diploma (ND) and Higher National Diploma (HND) Non-Terminal Nursing programmes through a Computer Assisted Screening (CAS) exercise.

Eligibility Requirements

To qualify for admission, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• JAMB Score: A minimum of 200 in the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), with LASCON Igando selected as First Choice Institution.

• O’Level: Candidates must possess five (5) credits in English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. These results must be obtained in not more than two sittings in either WASSCE or NECO examinations.

• Commencement Date: Tuesday, 15th July 2025

• Deadline for Application: Tuesday, 26th August 2025

• Computer Assisted Screening (CAS): Saturday, 13th September 2025

• Time: 8:00 AM

• Venue: LASCON Campus, Inside Alimosho General Hospital, Igando, Lagos

Programme Structure and Fees

The programme runs for four years, leading to a Registered Nurse (RN) qualification, with progression to Higher National Diploma (HND), Registered Midwife (RM), and Registered Public Health Nurse (RPHN) levels. A mandatory internship follows the training.

• Application Fee: ₦15,000 (non-refundable)

• Acceptance Fee: ₦100,000 (non-refundable)

• First-Year Tuition: ₦300,000 (payable before resumption)

• Training Mode: Residential

Computer-Based Test (CBT) Format

The Computer Assisted Screening will test candidates’ proficiency in the following subjects:

• English Language

• Mathematics

• Physics

• Chemistry

• Biology

• Current Affairs

Applicants are advised that past questions are not sold by the institution.

Application Procedure

1. Visit the official portal: www.lascon.edu.ng

2. Navigate to the “Courses” menu and select “Apply”

3. Create a new application account using:

   • Surname and First Name

   • JAMB Registration Number

   • Email Address and Phone Number

   • Selected Course

4. A confirmation email will be sent with a payment link, Admission Number, and password.

5. Proceed to make payment via platforms such as Paystack.

6. After successful payment, return to the portal and log in using the Admission Number and password.

7. Complete the applicant profile by providing:

   • Demographic and contact details

   • O’Level result verification

   • Parent/Guardian details

   • Passport photograph (not more than 100KB)

   • Upload all required documents

8. Click submit, then print the Applicant Information Form. Only candidates with this form will be allowed into the screening venue.
