Federal University Dutse (FUD) Warns Against Use of Fake Exam Cards, Labels It Examination Malpractice
The management of Federal University Dutse (FUD) has issued a strong warning to students over the recent circulation and use of fake “temporary examination cards” on campus. In an official circular released today by the Office of the Registrar, the University described the act as fraudulent and cautioned that any student caught with such forged documents will face strict disciplinary action.
According to the circular signed by Abdulkadir Ahmed FCIA, Principal Assistant Registrar (Academic Affairs), the University has not authorized the issuance of any temporary examination cards. The only valid exam clearance remains the official examination card issued through the University’s registration portal upon full completion of the registration process.
“It has come to the notice of the University Management that some students have forged ‘temporary examination cards’, which are being used in place of the official examination clearance card,” the statement read. “These cards are not issued by the University and are therefore considered fraudulent.”
The University reiterated that no student will be allowed access to any examination hall without the legitimate clearance card. Furthermore, the use of fake cards will be regarded as examination malpractice and will be dealt with accordingly.
Students are now being urged to complete all registration formalities without delay and ensure they obtain their examination cards through the appropriate and approved university channels.
This development has also been communicated to the Vice-Chancellor, Registrar, Deans, Heads of Departments, ICT Directorate, Security Department, and other relevant officials to ensure strict compliance and enforcement.
