YABA COLLEGE OF TECHNOLOGY (YABATECH) RELEASES CHANGE OF COURSE FORM FOR THE 2025/2026 ACADEMIC SESSION

The management of Yaba College of Technology (YABATECH) has announced available programmes for candidates seeking change of course for the 2025/2026 academic session.

In a notice issued to prospective students, the institution informed candidates who applied for Full-Time National Diploma (ND) programmes but are yet to be offered admission that opportunities are now open to change to selected National Diploma (ND) and B.Sc (Education) degree programmes.

Available National Diploma (ND) Programmes include:
Agricultural and Bio-Environmental Engineering, Agricultural Technology, Architecture, Banking and Finance, Building Technology, Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Estate Management, Fashion, Food Science and Technology, Hospitality Management, Industrial Maintenance Engineering, Tourism Management Technology, Library and Information Service, Marine Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, Mineral and Petroleum Engineering, Polymer Technology, Printing Technology, Quantity Surveying, Railway Engineering Technology, Statistics, Surveying and Geo-Informatics, Taxation, Textile Technology, Transport Planning and Management, Urban and Regional Planning, Welding and Fabrication Engineering.

Available B.Sc (Education) Programmes are:
Art Education, Biology Education, Business Education, Chemistry Education, Computer Education, Home Economics Education, Industrial Technical Education, Integrated Science Education, and Physics Education.

The college also listed National Diploma Open Distance and Flexible E-Learning (ODFeL) Programmes, which include Accountancy, Business Administration, Marketing, Public Administration, Mass Communication, Library and Information Service, Computer Science, Science Laboratory Technology, and Quantity Surveying.

Candidates interested in changing their course are required to apply on both the YABATECH portal and the JAMB portal before the expiration date for change of course to be considered. Applicants must also ensure they possess the required O’Level and UTME subject combinations for their chosen programmes.

The change of course application period runs from Wednesday, December 10, 2025, to Friday, December 12, 2025, with the official deadline set for 11:59 p.m. on Friday, December 12, 2025. However, the institution noted that special consideration has been extended till Monday, urging candidates to complete their applications promptly via the official portal.

Concerned applicants have been advised to comply strictly with the guidelines to avoid disqualification.
