UNILAG RAISES ALARM OVER IMPOSTOR CLAIMING TO INFLUENCE POSTGRADUATE ADMISSIONS
The School of Postgraduate Studies (SPGS), University of Lagos, has issued a warning to applicants and the general public about a fraudulent individual impersonating a staff member of the School.
According to the alert, the impostor operates under the name Dr. Taiwo (UNILAG) with the phone number +234 902 659 1695, falsely claiming to possess the ability to secure admissions into postgraduate programmes at UNILAG.
The SPGS clarified that the individual has no connection with the University and that his activities have already been reported to security agencies for necessary action.
Applicants, students and stakeholders have been strongly advised not to engage with the impostor or any person promising influence over admissions or course placements.
