MICHAEL OKPARA UNIVERSITY OF AGRICULTURE UMUDIKE (MOUAU) POSTPONES 11TH CONVOCATION CEREMONY
The Senate of Michael Okpara University of Agriculture, Umudike has announced the postponement of its 13th Convocation Ceremony, earlier scheduled to hold from December 10 to 13, 2025.
In an official notice signed by the Vice-Chancellor and Chairman of Senate, Prof. Maduebibisi Ofo Iwe, the University stated that the ceremony has been placed on hold until further notice.
The Senate expressed regret over the inconvenience caused to graduands, extending apologies to the Chancellor and Chairman of Convocation, His Royal Highness Alhaji Abubakar Shehu Abubakar IV, Emir of Gombe, as well as the 13th Convocation Lecturer and Director-General of the International Institute for Tropical Agriculture, Ibadan, Dr. Simeon Ehui.
According to the announcement, a new date for the Convocation Ceremony will be communicated to the public in due course.
