LASU UPDATES NELFUND REFUND PROCESS: NO MORE APPLICATION LETTERS REQUIRED FOR REFUND
The Lagos State University (LASU) has announced a significant update regarding the NELFUND refund process for the 2024/2025 academic session. In a recent directive, the university confirmed that students will no longer be required to submit refund application letters.
According to credible information received by Segio Campus Reports, affected students, those who paid their institutional fees out-of-pocket before receiving NELFUND disbursements, were initially instructed to write formal refund request letters. However, this requirement has now been withdrawn.
According to the Bursary Unit, all eligible refunds will be processed automatically by the university. Payments will be credited directly into the bank accounts provided by students during their registration on the NELFUND portal.
LASU has advised all students to verify that their bank account details on the NELFUND platform are accurate to ensure a smooth and timely refund process. Refund alerts are expected to start rolling out in a few weeks, providing relief to students awaiting reimbursement.
