LAGOS STATE UNIVERSITY (LASU) ANNOUNCES 2025 END OF YEAR BREAK

 Lagos State University (LASU) Management has approved an End-of-Year Break for staff and students to enjoy the festive season with their families. Staff will observe a one-week break from Monday, December 29, 2025, to Friday, January 2, 2026.

Full-time students proceed on a two-week break starting Friday, December 19, 2025, until Friday, January 2, 2026, in line with the Senate-approved academic calendar. All staff and students must resume duties on Monday, January 5, 2026.

Vice-Chancellor Prof. Ibiyemi Olatunji-Bello, mni, NPOM, on behalf of Senate and Management, extended Merry Christmas and prosperous New Year 2026 wishes to the university community. The announcement reinforces LASU’s commitment to work-life balance during the holiday period.
