JIMOH BABALOLA UNIVERSITY (JBU) RELEASES POST-UTME ADMISSION FORM FOR THE 2025/2026 ACADEMIC SESSION
Jimoh Babalola University (JBU), Asa Dam, Jooro Area, Ilorin, Kwara State, has opened its 2025/2026 admission window, inviting applications from suitably qualified candidates into various undergraduate programmes approved by the National Universities Commission.
According to the notice released by the institution, admissions are available into the Faculty of Allied Health Science, offering B.NSc. Nursing Science, B.Sc. Public Health, Bachelor of Community Health Science (B.CHS), and Bachelor of Environmental Health Science (B.EHS). The Faculty of Science and Computing is also admitting candidates into B.Sc. Computer Science, B.Sc. Cyber Security, B.Sc. Software Engineering, and B.Sc. Information Technology.
Application Procedure
Candidates who selected JBU as their first-choice institution on the 2025/2026 JAMB CAPS portal and scored at least 150 are eligible to apply for the Post-UTME screening. The minimum score for Nursing Science is pegged at 160.
Applicants who did not initially choose JBU but wish to do so may apply via a change of institution on JAMB CAPS, provided they meet the UTME score requirements.
Applications are to be submitted online through the University’s admission portal at admissions.jbu.edu.ng, with an application fee of ₦5,000, excluding portal access charges.
Successful applicants will receive admission notifications through the JBU portal and their JAMB CAPS profiles. Admission must be accepted on CAPS for it to be considered valid.
Eligibility Requirements
Prospective candidates must possess at least five credit passes in relevant O-Level subjects at not more than two sittings in WASSCE, NECO, or NABTEB. Applicants are also urged to verify programme-specific subject combinations and O-Level requirements.
In line with national policy, all applicants must be at least 16 years old at the time of admission.
