FEDERAL UNIVERSITY OF LAFIA (FULAFIA) RELEASES PART-TIME DEGREE PROGRAMME ADMISSION FORM FOR THE 2026/2027 ACADEMIC SESSION
The Federal University of Lafia, through its Centre for Continuing Education and Professional Development, has issued a public notice announcing the commencement of admissions into its Part-Time Degree Programmes for the 2026/2027 academic session.
According to the institution, the sale of forms will open on Monday, December 8, 2025, and close on Friday, January 16, 2026. Interested applicants across the country have been encouraged to obtain the forms within the specified period.
The programmes cut across several faculties, including Arts, Computing, Management Science, Social Sciences, Agricultural Science, Environmental Design and Science. Some of the available courses include Mass Communication, Arabic Studies, Computer Science, Accounting, Economics, Criminology and Security Studies, Social Work, Urban and Regional Planning Management, Mathematics and Physics, among others.
Applicants for the part-time programmes are required to first apply through JAMB before proceeding to process their admissions on the CCEPD online portal. The university revealed that the application fee is N12,000 and must be paid via the REMITA platform.
Prospective candidates seeking admission into 100 Level must possess at least five O’Level credits including English and Mathematics. Those applying for 200 Level entry are expected to hold qualifications such as JAMB, ND, NCE or a relevant university diploma. The institution also announced a Conversion Programme for applicants with HND or first degrees in related fields.
On programme duration, the university stated that Part One applicants will undergo a minimum of twelve semesters, while Part Two candidates will complete at least ten semesters. The special direct entry Conversion Programme will run for a minimum of four semesters.
The Centre’s online portal will remain active throughout the application window. Candidates seeking clarification have been advised to visit the CCEPD office at the university’s Take-off Site in Akunza, Lafia.
