UNIVERSITY OF PORT HARCOURT (UNIPORT) RELEASES SANDWICH DEGREE PROGRAMME ADMISSION FORM FOR THE 2024/2025 AND 2025/2026 ACADEMIC SESSION
The University of Port Harcourt has opened its admission process for the 2024/2025 Contact Session and the 2025/2026 Sandwich Session, inviting eligible candidates to apply for its Post-NCE and Post-SSC Sandwich Degree Programmes.
According to the announcement from the School of Sandwich Programmes, the application forms are now available for purchase at the Choba Campus. The programmes cut across major education fields aimed at training competent teachers and education specialists.
The available courses span several departments, including Educational Foundations and Arts, Educational Management, Social Studies, Business Education, Curriculum Studies, Science Education, Educational Technology, Guidance and Counselling, Sport and Exercise Science, Health Promotion, Adult and Non-Formal Education, Library Science and Information Technology, as well as Early Childhood and Primary Education.
The university noted that graduates of the Post-SSC Programme are eligible to participate in the National Youth Service Corps, NYSC.
Prospective candidates must possess at least five O’level credits, including English Language and Mathematics, in SSCE, WAEC, NECO, NABTEB or GCE. Applicants with relevant qualifications from recognized universities, HND holders, OND holders and those with Merit in NCE certificates are also eligible, subject to programme-specific requirements and compulsory education courses.
The institution encouraged interested applicants to visit the School of Sandwich Programmes at the University of Port Harcourt, Choba Campus, to obtain their admission forms.
