BARCELONA DEFEATS EINTRACHT FRANKFURT 2-1 IN CHAMPIONS LEAGUE
FC Barcelona secured a vital 2-1 victory over Eintracht Frankfurt in their UEFA Champions League league-phase fixture at Spotify Camp Nou today, thanks to an unexpected hero in defense.

The German side, Eintracht Frankfurt, took the lead in the first half with a goal from Ansgar Knauff in the 21st minute, leaving the Catalan side trailing at the break.
However, Barcelona’s comeback was fueled by an outstanding performance from defender Jules Koundé. The French international scored a rapid brace in the 50th and 53rd minutes—first a powerful equalizer after an assist from substitute Marcus Rashford, and then the winning header from a Lamine Yamal cross.
Koundé’s two goals flipped the script entirely, ensuring Barcelona took all three points in a crucial home match for their European hopes.
