UNIBEN OPENS PAYMENT PORTAL FOR NEWLY ADMITTED STUDENTS FOR THE 2025/2026 ACADEMIC SESSION
The University of Benin has announced the opening of its upgraded payment portal for all newly admitted students in the 100 Level category as well as direct entry candidates admitted into 200 Level for the 2025/2026 academic session.
The approval, issued by the Registrar, A. A. Bobola, confirms that the institution will continue with the existing regime of school charges. According to the statement, no increment has been made to the approved fees for any category of students, including those admitted for the current academic session.
The university advised students, parents, guardians and stakeholders to make payments strictly through the official portal provided by the institution. The payment process is to be completed via REMITA after logging in with each student’s User ID and password on the portal.
The outlined steps for school charge payment include:
- Visiting portal.uniben.edu and accessing the Login Menu
- Logging in with the assigned User ID and password
- Selecting School Charges under the Payment Menu
- Clicking the Process Payment button
- Following REMITA instructions to finalize the transaction
The institution also listed dedicated phone lines and an email address for enquiries, directing all issues to the Information Communication Technology Unit for prompt assistance.
