GBOKO POLYTECHNIC LIFTS BAN ON STUDENTS’ UNION ACTIVITIES

Gboko Polytechnic has formally lifted the ban on all Students’ Union activities, reopening the space for student leadership and campus governance. The announcement was issued on Tuesday through an internal memorandum from the Office of the Students’ Affairs Officer.

According to the memo signed by Agwa Austine, the Students’ Affairs Officer, the decision followed a directive from the Office of the Dean, Students’ Affairs. The institution stated that all Students’ Union operations are to resume immediately.

The memo further encouraged students interested in contesting positions in the Students’ Union Government to commence their preparations. It added that the institution will soon release guidelines and the full timetable for the electoral process.

The administration appealed to the student body to remain peaceful, orderly and committed to rebuilding a vibrant and responsible union as activities pick up again.
