OBAFEMI AWOLOWO UNIVERSITY (OAU) ANNOUNCES 49TH CONVOCATION CEREMONY

Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU) has announced that its 49th Convocation Ceremony will hold from Thursday, December 11 to Saturday, December 13, 2025.

According to the Ceremonials Committee, the university is committed to ensuring a secure, seamless, and enjoyable experience for all participants. As part of the arrangements, vehicles entering the campus during the convocation must display official University-approved stickers. Those without stickers will be required to pay a nominal fee of ₦1,000 per day.

Staff members whose vehicles do not yet have the required stickers are urged to procure them from the designated office before the convocation dates to guarantee smooth access.

The university emphasized that adherence to these guidelines is crucial for maintaining order, security, and the celebratory atmosphere during the convocation period.
