JOSEPH AYO BABALOLA UNIVERSITY (JABU) ANNOUNCES 16TH CONVOCATION CEREMONY

Joseph Ayo Babalola University (JABU), the institution proudly recognised as The First Entrepreneurial University in Nigeria, has announced the date for its 16th Convocation Ceremony, an event set to celebrate academic excellence and honour distinguished personalities.

The event, which will culminate the 2024/2025 academic session, is scheduled for Friday, December 5th, 2025, and will hold at the university’s main event ground, the Oba Oladele Olashore Auditorium, commencing at 10:00 am prompt.

The Vice-Chancellor of the faith-based institution, Professor Olasebikan Alade Fakolujo, Ph.D., D.I.C., R.Engr., FNIEEE, SMIEEE, is spearheading the preparations. The ceremony will feature the Conferment of Honorary Degrees on notable Nigerians who have distinguished themselves in their various fields of endeavor and service to humanity.

Additionally, the event will serve as the official platform for the Award of Higher Degrees (Master and Ph.D), Post Graduate Diploma, and First Degrees to successful graduands. The highlight will also include the Presentation of Prizes to those who achieved outstanding performance in their respective disciplines.

The Vice-Chancellor, on behalf of the Board of Trustees, Governing Council, Senate, Management, and Staff of JABU, has extended a warm and solemn invitation to parents, guardians, alumni, and the general public to join the institution for the celebration.

JABU, established by the Christ Apostolic Church, Nigeria & Overseas, is located along the Ilesa – Akure Road, in Ikeji-Arakeji, Osun State.
