LASU ACTIVATES SCHOOL OF PART-TIME STUDIES (LASUSPTS) ONLINE APPLICATION PORTAL FOR THE 2025/2026 ACADEMIC SESSION

The Management of Lagos State University has activated the online registration portal for the LASU SCHOOL OF PART TIME STUDIES.

The Lagos State University (LASU), Ojo, has announced the commencement of admission into its School of Part-Time Studies (LASU-SPTS) for the 2025/2026 academic session. The programme, domiciled at the Ojo main campus, is designed to provide flexible learning opportunities for candidates who may not be able to participate in the regular full-time mode.

Admission Requirements

Applicants must be at least 18 years of age and are expected to meet the general entry requirements as detailed on the University’s official website (www.lasu.edu.ng). Candidates applying through Direct Entry with relevant Diploma Certificates (OND from recognized polytechnics or LASU Diploma with Upper Credit) alongside the required five O’Level credits are also eligible.

Available Programmes

The institution has made available a wide range of part-time degree programmes across different faculties. These include:

Faculty of Arts – English Language, History and International Studies, Music, Peace Studies, Philosophy, Yoruba Communication Arts.

Faculty of Communication and Media Studies – Mass Communication.

Faculty of Management Sciences – Accounting, Banking and Finance, Business Administration, Industrial Relations and HR Management, Insurance, Local Government Administration, Marketing, Public Administration.

Faculty of Computing and Information Technology – Computer Science, Data Science, Information & Communication Technology, Software Engineering and Cyber Security.

Faculty of Science – Fisheries.

Faculty of Social Sciences – Economics, Political Science, Psychology, Sociology.

Application Procedure

Interested candidates are required to pay a non-refundable fee of ₦20,000 via the LASU e-payment portal (www.lasu.edu.ng/epayment) to access and complete the online application form. Applicants will also be required to upload their credentials before submission.

Following the entrance examination, successful candidates will proceed to pay an acceptance fee of ₦30,000 and a medical fee of ₦30,000.

Closing Date

The application portal will remain open for six (6) weeks from the date of publication.
