RIVERS STATE UNIVERSITY (RSU) ANNOUNCES REVISED CONVOCATION FEES
The Rivers State University (RSU) has announced a downward revision of its convocation fees following a strategic meeting between the management and the leadership of the Students’ Union Government (SUG). The new fees will apply to the forthcoming 37th and 38th Combined Convocation Ceremony scheduled for December 2025.
The meeting, held on Tuesday, September 30, 2025, addressed concerns and requests raised by the Students’ Union regarding the convocation fees. Following deliberation and input from the SUG, the University Management, led by the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Isaac Zeb-Obipi, approved the following revised fees:
Bachelor’s Degree: N65,000
Professional/Certificate Programmes: N68,000
Postgraduate Diploma (PGD): N75,000
Master’s Degree: N125,000
Doctor of Philosophy (PhD): N210,000
