AHMADU BELLO UNIVERSITY (ABU) RELEASES APPROVED FULL-TIME UNDERGRADUATE ACADEMIC CALENDAR FOR THE 2025/2026 SESSION
The management of Ahmadu Bello University (ABU), Zaria, has released the approved full-time undergraduate academic calendar for the 2025/2026 academic session following the decision of the Senate at its 554th meeting.
According to the schedule, the First Semester will commence on 5th January 2026 with student registration. Academic activities, including lectures, examinations, and breaks, will run until 30th May 2026.
The Second Semester is set to begin on 1st June 2026 and will conclude in October 2026 with final examinations. The calendar also outlines timelines for results processing and graduation exercises.
The university further noted that all national and state public holidays will be duly observed during the academic year.
