UNIVERSITY OF LAGOS (UNILAG) RELEASES DIRECT ENTRY ADMISSION FORM FOR THE 2025/2026 ACADEMIC SESSION


The University of Lagos (UNILAG) has commenced the Direct Entry (DE) registration exercise for admission into all undergraduate programmes for the 2025/2026 academic session. The registration will run from Monday, September 22, to Friday, October 3, 2025.

According to the Registrar, Mrs. V. Abosede Wickliffe, the process will be conducted strictly online via the University’s official website: www.unilag.edu.ng.


Registration Procedure

Candidates are required to:

  1. Visit www.unilag.edu.ng and click on 2025/2026 Direct Entry (DE) Application on the homepage pop-up.

  2. Log in using their Direct Entry application number as username and surname (lowercase) as password.

  3. Generate and print the payment advice.

  4. Pay the ₦3,500 application fee at any commercial bank or online.

  5. Return to the portal, click on Continue Application, and complete the screening form.

  6. Upload relevant results (First Degree, HND, OND, JUPEB, NCE, Cambridge A’ Level, etc.).

  7. Click on Preview to confirm accuracy of details before submission.

  8. Print the Direct Entry e-registration slip.

  9. Proceed to the Admissions Office, Senate Building (1st Floor, Room 174) to submit the printed slip and credentials between September 22 and October 3, 2025.


Eligibility

To qualify for the registration, candidates must:

  • Have chosen University of Lagos as their first choice in the 2025/2026 JAMB DE application.

  • Possess five (5) credit passes at one sitting, including English Language and Mathematics, in relevant O’level subjects.

  • Be at least 16 years old by September 30, 2025.

  • Ensure all personal details (name, date of birth, state of origin, LGA, etc.) are consistent across documents.

  • Note that candidates who fail to register online will not be considered for admission.

  • Former students withdrawn for poor academic performance may re-apply for a different programme, while expelled students remain ineligible.


Important Notice

UNILAG has maintained its zero tolerance for drug abuse, warning that any candidate who tests positive during compulsory drug testing will have their admission withdrawn immediately, whether before or after registration.
