LAGOS STATE UNIVERSITY (LASU) RELEASES CONVERSION OF HND/BSC CERTIFICATE TOP-UP DEGREE PROGRAMME ADMISSION FORM FOR THE 2024/2025 ACADEMIC SESSION

The Lagos State University (LASU), Ojo, through its School of Part-Time Studies (SPTS), has invited applications from suitably qualified candidates for the 2024/2025 HND/BSc Conversion Top-Up Degree Programme.

The programme was established to address the long-standing dichotomy between Higher National Diploma (HND) and Bachelor’s Degree (BSc) holders, thereby providing a level playing field for career advancement. It also creates an opportunity for university graduates who are dissatisfied with their class of degree to “top-up” and graduate with an improved classification.

Admission Requirements

To be eligible, applicants must possess a relevant BSc (any class) or HND (minimum of Lower Credit), along with evidence of completion of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) or exemption.

Available Programmes

LASU has opened admission across 14 degree programmes in the Faculties of Management Sciences, Social Sciences, Communication, Science, and Technology. These include:

BSc Accounting

BSc Business Administration

BSc Finance

BSc Insurance

BSc Industrial Relations & Human Resources Management

BSc Public Administration

BSc Marketing

BSc Mass Communication

BSc Computer Science

BSc Economics

BSc Geography

BSc Project Management Technology

BSc Fisheries

BSc Science Laboratory Technology

Each programme requires five O’Level credits in specific subject combinations relevant to the chosen course.

Application Procedure

Prospective candidates are required to visit www.lasu.edu.ng/epayment to pay a non-refundable application fee of ₦25,000 before completing the online form. Applicants must upload their credentials and submit electronically.

Qualified candidates will be invited for screening. Upon admission, successful candidates are to pay an acceptance fee of ₦30,000 and a medical fee of ₦30,000 immediately.
