FEDERAL UNIVERSITY OF HEALTH SCIENCES AZARE (FUHSA) RELEASES INTRA UNIVERSITY TRANSFER FORM FOR THE 2025/2026 ACADEMIC SESSION

The Federal University of Health Sciences, Azare (FUHSA) has officially approved the modalities and requirements for students seeking intra-university transfers (change of course) and inter-university transfers.

In a circular signed by the Registrar, C.A.A. Admau, and issued on Thursday, September 4, 2025, following the 32nd Senate meeting, prospective applicants are expected to apply through the institution’s portal at https://applicant.safapply.com/fuhsa.

Key Requirements:

• Five (5) O’level credits including English and Mathematics.
• A minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 4.01 and above for MBBS and BDS; 3.50 and above for Nursing Sciences and other courses.
• Academic transcript submission.
• Clearance and acceptance from the current and receiving departments, faculty, and university.
• Transfer applicants must regularise with JAMB and fill an indemnity form.
• Transfers can only be made once, and in some cases, prerequisite courses may be required.

Approved Fees:

• Change of course/loan – ₦50,000
• Acceptance fee for change of course within FUHSA – ₦250,000
• Transfer from Public Universities within Nigeria – ₦500,000
• Transfer from Private Universities within Nigeria – ₦2,500,000
• Transfer from Foreign Universities – ₦3,000,000

The university emphasized that transfers are subject to availability of vacancies in the desired departments.
