Segio Campus Reports confirms that the management of Lagos State University (LASU) has commenced the uploading of the First Batch Merit Admission List for the 2025/2026 academic session on the institution’s official portal.

Candidates who find their names on the merit list should note that the admission process does not end with checking the portal. There are a series of important steps that LASU traditionally requires all newly admitted students to complete. Although the payment portals and clearance process have not yet been activated, prospective students are advised to prepare ahead.

1. Visit the LASU admissions portal: services.lidc.lasu.edu.ng/admissionscreening/login.php.

2. Enter your JAMB Registration Number and Surname.

3. Click Login

4. If offered admission, a notification will display.

Key Steps Candidates Will Take After Confirming Admission on LASU Portal.

1. Payment of Acceptance Fee

The acceptance fee is the first official payment every newly admitted student must make. It serves as confirmation of your decision to join the LASU community. Once activated, candidates will be able to access the acceptance fee payment portal through the LASU website.

2. Payment of Medical Fee

LASU places emphasis on student health and requires all admitted students to complete medical registration. The medical fee covers essential health services and ensures students can access healthcare during their academic journey.

3. Online Clearance (LACACA)

After acceptance and medical fee payments, candidates will proceed to LASU’s online clearance system, officially called LACACA (LASU Central Admissions Clearance Application).

This stage involves uploading required documents such as:

O’level results Scratch Card (WAEC, NECO, or equivalent).

Birth certificate or sworn affidavit of age declaration.

Original JAMB Result/Original JAMB Admission Letter.

Passport photographs and other required documents.

Once submitted, LASU officials will verify the documents online before clearance is approved.

1) JAMB Admission Confirmation (CAPS + SMS Validation)

LASU transmits offers to JAMB’s Central Admission Processing System (CAPS). Your admission is not fully complete until it’s validated with JAMB.

Log in to your JAMB e-Facility, go to Check Admission Status → Access my CAPS to see one of the common states:

Admitted – offer available.

AIP (Admission in Progress) – wait for finalization.

Transfer Approval – JAMB is asking you to approve a change of course/institution before admission can be completed (approve here online).

Accept/Reject via SMS (required action):

Using the phone number linked to your JAMB profile:

Send ACCEPT to 55019 or 66019 to accept.

Send REJECT to the same code to decline
