UNICAL CANCELS 2025/2026 POST-UTME APTITUDE TEST, ADOPTS O’LEVEL POINT TALLY SYSTEM
The University of Calabar (UNICAL) has announced the official closure of its Post-UTME registration portal for the 2025/2026 academic session and the cancellation of its scheduled aptitude test.
According to a statement from the Office of the Registrar, the decision was taken to ease the stress and challenges candidates might face traveling to Calabar for the screening exercise.
Instead of the test, the university will now assess prospective candidates using their O’Level results through the Point Tally System.
The announcement was signed by Dr. (Mrs.) Chukwuka I. Icha, Registrar and Secretary to Council.
