EXTENSION OF 2025/2026 STATE OF ORIGIN VERIFICATION EXERCISE.

The Lagos State University of Science and Technology (LASUSTECH)Management has graciously announced the extension of its State of Origin Verification Exercise (SOVE) for the 2025/2026 academic session for candidates who missed the exercise held between Monday, 21st through Friday, 25th July, 2025. The initiative is aimed at authenticating the Lagos State origin of prospective students who chose LASUSTECH as their first choice in the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) or applied through Direct Entry.

📅 Key Dates to Remember:

– Registration Period: Friday, 15th August – Friday, 22nd August 2025

– Verification Interview: Monday, 25th August, 2025.

🧾 Eligibility Criteria:

– Must be of Lagos State origin.

– Must have scored at least 195 in the 2025 UTME.

– Must have chosen LASUSTECH as first choice or applied through Direct Entry.

💻 Application & Payment:

Interested candidates are required to pay a non-refundable fee of ₦5,000 via the official portal: https://sove.lasustech.edu.ng. The university strictly warns against making any payments outside of the designated platform.

⚠️ Important Note:

Participation in the SOVE does not guarantee admission into LASUSTECH. Only candidates cleared by the State of Origin Verification Committee (SOVC) will be permitted to proceed with the POST UTME screening process.
