FEDERAL POLYTECHNIC BAUCHI (FPTB) ORDERS IMMEDIATE CLOSURE OF ACADEMIC ACTIVITIES AFTER HOSTELS INVASION

Federal Polytechnic Bauchi management has announced the immediate closure of all academic activities following a distressing incident at the male students’ hostel. According to official sources, unknown individuals invaded the hostel, stealing students’ belongings and injuring two students.

In response, students gathered at the Polytechnic Main Gate to protest and demand urgent action from the Management. While the Management promptly engaged with the students, it was confirmed that the protest was hijacked by hoodlums with intentions contrary to peaceful demonstration.

As a result of the escalating situation, Management has instructed all students to vacate the campus within two hours of this announcement until further notice.

The Registrar, Alhaji Kasimu Salihu, assured that the institution is taking necessary steps to restore peace and security on campus.
