JOSEPH SARWUAN TARKA UNIVERSITY MAKURDI (JSTUM) RELEASES POST-UTME/DIRECT ENTRY ADMISSION FORM FOR THE 2025/2026 ACADEMIC SESSION

The management of Joseph Sarwuan Tarka University, Makurdi (JSTUM) has opened the online application portal for Post-UTME and Direct Entry (DE) screening for the 2025/2026 academic session.

Application Period

• Opening Date: Monday, 14th July 2025

• Closing Date: Monday, 28th July 2025

Eligibility Criteria

1. Candidates must have scored 150 or above in the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).

2. Applicants must possess a minimum of five (5) O’Level credits, including English Language and Mathematics, obtained at not more than two sittings.

3. Candidates must have selected JSTUM as their first choice, or must process a change of institution to the university through JAMB.

Application Fee

• ₦2,000 only (excluding bank/service charges)

Payment Procedure

1. Visit the university website: www.uam.edu.ng

2. Generate a Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR) number from the university site (not directly from Remita).

3. Proceed to payment using any of the following options:

   • ATM Card

   • USSD

   • Bank Transfer

4. After successful payment, complete the online application and print the application form from the portal: www.myportal.uam.edu.ng

Important Notes

• All candidates (UTME and DE) must upload their O’Level results to JAMB CAPS at the nearest JAMB Office or accredited CBT centre.

• Failure to upload O’Level results to CAPS will result in disqualification from admission consideration.

• Candidates should monitor the university portal for details on the screening exercise schedule.
