
WEST MIDLANDS OPEN UNIVERSITY (WMOU) RELEASES ADMISSION FORM FOR THE 2025/2026 ACADEMIC SESSION
West Midlands Open University (WMOU) has announced the commencement of admissions for the 2025/2026 academic session. According to the institution, all new students who enrol for the session beginning in September 2025 will receive a 40% scholarship. The scholarship is approved by the Founder, HRMOBA Murtala Adebayo Akande (MFR).
The university has also introduced a flexible payment plan, allowing students to pay tuition at a rate of ₦2,500 per credit unit. Learning will be conducted through a blended virtual model, and students are required to pay a ₦40,000 semester registration fee before the first Tutor-Marked Assignment (TMA), which is scheduled four weeks into the semester.

Admission Categories
WMOU is accepting applications into the following categories:

Freshers: 8 semesters (entry with O’Level/A-Level results)

Direct Entry: 6 semesters (entry with OND, NCE, JUPEB, IJMB, A-Level)

HND/BSc Conversion: 4 semesters
Application fee is ₦10,000. A minimum of four courses per semester is required, each carrying two or three credit units.
